THE ROUS IS A CLUB OF RIDERS COMMITTED TO BUILDING THE COMMUNITY IN A REAL WAY
Our single aim is to bring a strong contingent of riders together who know each other's names and faces, ride together, dig together, and advocate for the expansion of MTB in Utah. We are focused on building a genuine community -- not one of armchair experts or keyboard warriors -- through riding events and causes. Because in the end, there's nothing better than riding, pushing yourself, trying something new, and having fun doing it.
HOW DO I JOIN?
That's a bit of an existential question. What is a club? How do you join it? We're just a group of riders that like doing riding-related things. There's no registration or application, but join our Strava team and follow us on Instagram. Most importantly, join us for group rides, contribute to trail planning measures, participate in riding challenges, engage on social media, throw out ideas, and just generally be proactive.
WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO YOU DO?
We put on any kind of riding event that will bring riders together. We've hosted informal enduro events, dig days, monthly riding challenges, costume DH races, charity auctions for trail building, and plain old group rides. What can you expect in the future? All of that plus advocating for new trails, better access to local companies, scramble tournaments, and vert challenges. If it's fun, involves bikes, and brings riders together, we'll do it. If you have ideas, let us know.
